Project ECHO - driven by a single doctor with a cause - pulled together a team of specialists to develop a model that combines technology with collaborative care and careful patient tracking to help cure for diseases spread to patients around the world through community healthcare agents, as opposed to only specialty centers. This kind of "disruptive innovation" is effectively working to demonopolize health care knowledge and access, and lends to a health system capable of meeting today’s soaring demands for care.

To help address care shortages, the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact makes it easier for physicians to work across state lines, taking the typical three to six month licensing process and reducing it to about seven to 10 days. 37 states are currently part of the Compact, which has helped license 15,000 physicians.

In Uruguay, illegality and stigma surrounding abortions resulted in problems with maternal mortality rates. Utilizing a unique solution, a medical protocol was created to provide initial information and followup care to women seeking abortions.

During Kenya's 2023 cholera outbreak, CHPs using the digital platform reached 99.2% of the population for vaccination, containing what could have been a widespread epidemic.

A pair of doctors are working to make healthcare more accessible and affordable by training area hospitals to use new technology, like ultrasound devices, to detect non-communicable diseases. Through their newly established non-communicable disease clinic staffed with personnel trained to provide more precise medical care, about 1,100 patients have been cared for.

The RECOVERY Rehabilitation Center provides rehabilitation care for wounded soldiers. Providers at the center provide patients with specialized care and help to create individual action plans for when patients leave the center to ensure they have the means to adapt to their new way of life.
