The Campus Babe Initiative helps girls in Nigeria who are not attending school because of teen pregnancy get back in school. The initiative provides financial support, school materials, and information. It also holds informational workshops to help prevent teen pregnancies.

The Yenbyen Fellowship is a six-month program that provides free digital skills training to young women. The Fellowship’s goal is to support the next generation of female tech leaders by providing training in areas like coding, web development, software engineering, and digital marketing. In an area where women are scarce in the workplace, so far 19 students who participated in the fellowship have found jobs in the tech industry.

Residents of Enugu State, Nigeria, are putting a stop to female genital mutilation by spreading awareness about the dangers of the practice to communities and enacting laws against it.

Fistula Foundation Nigeria helps women with obstetric fistula get free treatment and get back to daily life. The organization also works to prevent obstetric fistula through public education and training doctors.

The Female Reporters Leadership Programme trains Nigerian journalists to step into leadership positions and encourage more coverage of issues affecting women and girls in their newsrooms, with instruction and mentorship around leadership skills, sexual and gender-based violence, criminal justice and more. The initiative has trained 74 fellows so far, and more than half of participants surveyed were promoted or took on additional responsibilities at work after completing the fellowship.

The Centre for Girls Education in Zaria City, Nigeria provides educational programs for female students across age groups and stages of life, from preschool initiatives centered around the Montessori philosophy to programs for married adolescents. The organization has served more than 7,000 girls to date and encourages older girls and past participants to share their perspectives and experiences with younger students through "cascading mentorship."

The RapidSMS program provides mobile phones to connect pregnant women, community health workers (CHWs), ambulances, and hospitals. CHWs enter data into phones to track all pregnant women, monitor prenatal care, and identify women at risk of complications. The free platform also allows pregnant women to send a text message to their CHW, who can alert an ambulance to be dispatched to even the most remote regions and give hospitals advanced notice of the women’s arrival. The system has been so effective in improving health outcomes that the government is looking to use it for other medical issues like malaria.

This Ability Trust is a nonprofit working to help women and girls with disabilities facing violence. Their Mama Siri program is a toll-free phone service that people with disabilities can call for information and help with things like reporting violence to the police and getting to a safe space.

She Writes Woman, provides safe spaces for those in need to receive mental healthcare services. As of this year, She Writes Woman receives about 200 calls on its toll-free helpline each day, serving a community of about 45,000 people.
